Ron Grimes

Ron Grimes has over 30 years of work experience in security and operations management. Ron is currently the Director of Safety and Security at Ryman Hospitality Properties. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Operations & Public Safety at Von Braun Center for 13 years, overseeing various aspects of event management and facility operations. Ron also worked as a Consultant at Ronald Grimes & Associates, Inc, providing security and travel services to clients. Ron was the Vice President of Operations at CIS, INC, managing government security contracts. Ron's earlier experience includes roles at Marshall Space Flight Center, Motorola, Engelhard Corporation, and the Huntsville Alabama police department. Ron started their career as a Police Detective in the Town of Blacksburg, VA. Overall, Ron has a strong background in security, operations, and law enforcement.

Ron Grimes has a diverse education history. Ron graduated from Seminole High School in 1973. In 1982, they received a Diploma/Certification from the State of Alabama Graduate of the Huntsville Police Academy, specializing in Homeland Security, Law Enforcement, Firefighting, and Related Protective Services. In 1976, they also obtained a Diploma/Certification from the Northern VA Police Academy, focusing on Law Enforcement.

Furthering their education, Grimes attended Athens State University from 1986 to 1988 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Administration of Justice. In 2008 to 2009, they completed studies at the IAVM Public Assembly Facility Management School and was awarded a Certificate of Completion in Hospitality Administration/Management.

Grimes continued their education at the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration from 2014 to 2016, where they attended the Senior Executive Symposium, specializing in Hospitality Administration/Management.
