Sidney Cherry

Sidney Cherry has an extensive work history in the tax and treasury operations field. Sidney started their career in 1998 as a Tax Manager at Deloitte. In 2004, they joined Gaylord Entertainment as the Director of Taxes, where they stayed for nine years. In 2013, Cherry moved to Ryman Hospitality Properties, initially as the VP of Tax and later taking on roles as the SVP of Tax and SVP of Tax and Treasury Operations. Sidney has continued to work at Ryman Hospitality Properties, with their most recent role being SVP of Tax and Treasury Operations.

Sidney Cherry obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a major in Accounting from Auburn University, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree with a specialization in Taxation at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, from 1997 to 1998.
