Richard Gurley

Richard Gurley is the co-founder and CEO of Ryse Health. Richard has also served as an advisor for BrainCheck, G3 Investing, Ravel Biotechnology, S.O.L.V.E. Health Tech, Positive Development, Inc., and Doctor On Demand. In addition, they are an investor and advisor for Modern Fertility.

Gurley has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Richard has a background in electrical engineering and received their MBA from Stanford University. Richard began their career as an engineer at Abbott Laboratories before moving into the business world. Richard then held various positions in healthcare investing, strategy consulting, and business development.

In 2018, Gurley co-founded Ryse Health with the goal of making it easier for people to get the care they need. Ryse Health is a digital health company that provides on-demand access to primary care, mental health, and wellness services. The company offers a mobile app and website that allow users to book appointments, chat with providers, and track their health data.

Richard Gurley pursued an MBA at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business after completing a BA in Public Policy Studies at Vanderbilt University.
