Evelin E.

Evelin E. currently serves as an Education Engagement Advocate/Case Manager at RYSE Youth Center since July 2023. Previously, Evelin worked as a Richmond Promise Summer Associate at The Richmond Promise in June 2021 and as a Summer Associate in June 2019, where responsibilities included supporting college awareness and advising students on scholarship renewals. Additionally, Evelin was a UROC-H Research Fellowship Recipient at the University of California, Merced from January 2020 to July 2021. Earlier experience includes serving as an AmeriCorps Member with AmeriCorps VISTA in June 2019. Evelin holds a degree in Sociology from the University of California, Merced, obtained in 2022, and graduated from Making Waves Academy with a high school diploma in 2018.
