Brendan Cooke

Brendan Cooke possesses extensive experience in the energy sector, focusing on carbon capture, utilization, and storage. As Vice President at Rystad Energy from August 2023 to July 2024, Brendan advanced initiatives in the carbon management domain after serving as a Senior Analyst in the same field. Prior to Rystad Energy, Brendan worked as a Senior Policy Analyst at Canada West Foundation from March 2021 to August 2023. Additionally, experience at TELUS included roles as Senior Project Manager and Senior Business Analyst from June 2015 to March 2021. Leadership was demonstrated as Vice President of the Sustainable Energy Development Society at the University of Calgary from July 2019 to July 2020. Early in Brendan's career, a position as Cost Analyst at Glencore E&P (Canada) Inc. was held from November 2014 to May 2015. Brendan holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Development and a Bachelor of Commerce in Energy Management, both from the University of Calgary.
