Erik Wold

Erik Wold is a senior partner and head of technology at Rystad Energy. Erik has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Erik started their career as a research director at SINTEF, where they headed the department of optical measurement technology and data analysis. Erik then went on to work for a number of oil and gas companies, before joining Rystad Energy in 2013.

Erik Wold earned their Dr.ing. in Physics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

They are on a team with Aase Stenhouse - SVP, Talent & Culture, Jan Byrkjeland - Senior Partner & Head of Consulting EMEA, and Lars Eirik Nicolaisen - Senior Partner & Deputy CEO. Their manager is Jarand Rystad, CEO.
