Joseph Cortez

Joseph Cortez is an experienced Environmental Scientist III currently employed at RRP Consulting Engineers LLC since May 2023 and S & B Infrastructure, Ltd. since April 2018, specializing in NEPA with a focus on Environmental Impact Statements, Environmental Assessments, and Phase I investigations. Previously, Joseph worked as a Field Technician at Wonderful Citrus from May 2016 to April 2018, where responsibilities included grove monitoring, pest scouting, and report generation. Joseph initially joined Wonderful Citrus as a Farming Intern in 2016, gaining a comprehensive understanding of various agricultural departments. Earlier experience includes serving as General Manager at Mama Mias Pizzeria from November 2010 to June 2016, overseeing employee management, training, and operations. Joseph holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, received from 2014 to 2016, and a High School Diploma from Edinburg High School, earned in 2007.
