Luis Segovia

Luis Segovia has extensive experience in maintenance and project management within the mining sector. Currently serving as Jefe de División Abastecimiento y Bodega at S.C.M. Atacama Kozan since July 2019, Luis oversees mechanical maintenance and ensures the reliability of equipment from primary crushing to final tailings deposits. Previously held the title of Jefe General de Planificación Planta at MANTOS COPPER, where the focus was on directing a team of maintenance planners and managing plant assets. Prior roles include Jefe de Proyectos at Anglo American, where Luis managed CAPEX project portfolios and served as Planificador de Mantención Mecánica. Luis began the career as Planificador de Mantención in Pucobre SA. Educational qualifications include a Civil Engineering degree from Universidad de Atacama, a diploma in Project Management from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, and a diploma in Maintenance Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.
