Cy Philp Cmiosh

Cy Philp CMIOSH is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the construction and safety sectors. Currently serving as BPS Director at SDC Builders Ltd since October 2015, Cy has played a pivotal role in strategic decision-making and reporting directly to the Managing Director. In the previous five years as Head of BPS, Cy successfully managed a team of 20, achieving record safety, health, and environmental (SHE) performance for the company. Prior experience includes roles at McLaren Construction as Group Learning & Development/SHE/Lifting Operations Manager, overseeing significant projects, and as Assistant Manager/Trainer at Citrus Training, where Cy contributed to the NVQ department. Cy's career began in the British Army as a Sgt in the Royal Engineers, specializing in plant operation and project management. Educational qualifications include safety training from Cambridge and multiple credentials from the Royal School of Military Engineering.
