Dewan Chowdhury is a Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive experience in the engineering field. Currently employed at S I Sealy & Associates since December 2023, Dewan previously worked as a Building Services Engineer at Waterman Group from September 2022 to December 2023 and held the position of Mechanical Design Engineer at Edina from June 2018 to September 2022. Dewan's professional journey began as a Product Engineering Intern at ENER-G Combined Power, where significant skills in manufacturing and production were gained, focusing on the design of piping systems for large-scale Gensets. Dewan also contributed to the University of Salford Race Team as a Suspension & Handling Engineer, designing the suspension system for the Formula Student car. Earlier experience includes a role as a Shop Floor Assistant at Asda. Dewan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Salford, completed in 2018.

Our services include: Building Services Design Consultancy - our capability spans all aspects of mechanical and electrical services, with commissions ranging from technical advice to complete design and contract administration. We provide solutions on all issues that encompass the life span of a builgin, no matter what kind of building. Sustainability & Environmental Solutions - we understand the requirements for sustainable buildings, as well as the inherent costs, impact, viability , grant availability and feed-in-tariffs. The solutions we advise on include: solar thermal, wind, ground source heat pumps, ground source cooling. We have a number of Low Carbon Consultants and Part ADL2 qualified engineers who can undertake SBEMs and EPCs. We have recently undertaken some research, funded by the Government's Technology Strategy Board, looking into climate change mitigation and adaptation. In-house Building & Energy Modelling Team - who work closely with our M&E engineers to advise clients on how best to reduce their energy usage and resultant carbon emissions.
