Raymond Morency

Raymond Morency has extensive work experience in the field of trade and regulatory compliance. From 2001 to 2006, they worked as a Canada Customs Specialist at Merchant Customs Brokers Ltd. Following that, they served as the Customs & Logistics Manager at Cansew Inc. from 2006 to 2011. In 2011, Raymond joined L Brands as the Manager of Customs Operations, a role they held until 2019. At SSENSE, they first worked as the Senior Manager of Global Trade Compliance from 2019 to 2021. Raymond was then promoted to the position of Director of Trade and Regulatory Compliance in 2021.

Raymond Morency, CCLP, CTCS, CCS, holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management Information Systems from Concordia University, which they obtained from 2002 to 2006. In 2006, they earned the Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) certification from the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers. From 2005 to 2006, Raymond pursued the Certified Logistics Professional (CCLP) certification in Transportation & Logistics from the Canadian Institute of Traffic and Transportation. More recently, in 2019, they obtained the Certified Trade Compliance Specialist (CTCS) certification from the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers. Raymond also received additional certifications including the CITT-Certified Logistics Professional in 2006 and the CCS in 2006.
