Cathy Thornton is an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist at STR Group since July 2018, focusing on sourcing and attracting a diverse range of candidates while innovating internal recruitment processes to enhance sales operations in Portsmouth and Handcross. Previously, Cathy worked as a Senior Consultant in Procurement, Supply Chain & Logistics at Excipion from October 2013 to July 2018, and specialized in recruiting healthcare professionals as a Senior Consultant at STR Group from May 2009 to September 2013. Cathy began a career in recruitment as a Consultant in Construction at Matchtech Group from November 2006 to May 2009. Cathy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology from the University of Portsmouth, obtained between 2002 and 2005.
