Kurt Lieber

Kurt Lieber has extensive work experience, with their most recent role being Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at S2 Cyber, starting in October 2021. Kurt has also served as a Seed Investor at SPI and a Venture Advisor at YL Ventures. In the past, they have worked as an Executive Vice President & Chief Information Security Officer at Wells Fargo, a Vice President & CISO at Aetna, and a Vice President, Identity & Access Management and Large Programs at Kaiser Permanente, among other roles. Kurt was also responsible for Target's information technology security program as an IT Security consultant and held a Vice President position at Goldman Sachs. Kurt started their career at Accenture as a Manager. Lieber's experience includes infrastructure management, security risk management, identity and access management, compliance, and setting strategic direction for security programs.

Kurt Lieber has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington. In 2002, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from ISC2, and in 2013, they obtained the Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP) certification from the HIPAA Academy.
