Andy Thompson is an experienced geological professional with a robust career spanning over three decades in the mining and exploration sectors. Currently serving as General Manager Scandinavia at S2 Resources Ltd since May 2017, Andy has held various significant roles, including Consultant at Independence Group (IGO) and General Manager of Resources and Geology at Sirius Resources. Previous positions include Exploration Manager at Crusader Resources and Corazon Mining, and Manager of Resources and Geology at Apex Mining. Andy's expertise encompasses resource delineation, feasibility studies, and the implementation of geological systems, demonstrated through impactful contributions at Lionore Mining International and Forrestania Gold. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Exploration and Mining Geology from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
