Mark Bennett

Mark Bennett serves as the Executive Chairman of S2 Resources Ltd since September 2015, leading the company since its ASX listing and overseeing a portfolio of gold and base metal properties in Australia. In September 2021, Mark became the Chairman of Falcon Metals, focusing on gold exploration in Victoria. Additionally, as a Director of Diamond Valley Capital since June 2021 and Valkea Resources from September 2024, Mark is involved in private investments in the resources sector and exploring gold in northern Finland. Mark previously held positions such as Non-executive Director at Todd River Resources, Director at Independence Group, and Managing Director & CEO of Sirius Resources, where significant discoveries were made, including the Nova-Bollinger nickel-copper mine. Mark's extensive experience in exploration and geological management spans multiple organizations, with notable contributions to mining projects in Australia and West Africa. Mark holds a Ph.D. in Geochemistry and Sedimentology and a B.Sc (Hons) in Mining Geology.
