Justin Chia is a software engineer with experience in various roles across multiple companies. Currently employed at ByteDance since August 2024, Justin previously worked at Novo AI, developing a QnA backend for a Slack bot in early 2023. As a consultant and intern at Workstream from January 2021 to May 2022, Justin contributed to software engineering projects. Justin co-founded JumpQueue, where a minimum viable product for a digital ordering platform was created and successfully pitched to NUS Enterprise, resulting in a $10,000 grant. Justin has also served as a teaching assistant at the National University of Singapore, and interned as a software analyst at JobKred. Educationally, Justin holds dual bachelor's degrees in Computer Engineering and Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and is pursuing a master's degree in Computer Science at the same institution. Justin’s international experience includes a stint at NUS Overseas Colleges in Silicon Valley.
