James Shannon Aia, Ncarb

James Shannon, AIA, NCARB, is a highly experienced architect currently serving as a Senior Architect at S9 Architecture since December 2022. As the founding principal of jsStudio Architecture PLLC and a founding partner at STREKTE Architects PLLC, James specializes in comprehensive architectural services including project design and construction administration. Previously, as Director of Architecture at STREKTE, James oversaw the design and execution of mixed-use developments in New York City. James has also worked as a Project Architect and Project Manager at Kleinmann Architects, managing diverse projects across the city. Early career experience includes roles as Site Manager at Vickery Construction and May River Contracting, where responsibilities encompassed site management and carpentry. James holds a Master of Arts in Architecture and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture from Savannah College of Art and Design.
