Braden Pierson

Braden Pierson is a seasoned professional in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with extensive experience spanning over two decades in various roles within local government and private sector organizations. Currently serving as a Facilities Information (GIS/CAD) Officer at SA Power Networks since July 2018, Braden is responsible for maintaining feeder diagram currency within the Network Model Team. Previously, Braden held significant roles at Sunshine Coast Regional Council as a Senior Spatial Information Officer and logistical responsibilities within the Local Disaster Coordination Committee. As the founder of AuGISCo, Braden conducted solar farm suitability analyses. Additionally, Braden has worked with the Moreton Bay Regional Council and the Department of Transport and Main Roads, managing geospatial projects and strategic initiatives. Academic qualifications include multiple degrees from the University of Adelaide in Applied GIS & Remote Sensing, Geography, and Geology.
