George Boyd

George Boyd is an experienced professional in the field of design and draughting, currently serving as a Primary Design Officer for Substation at SA Power Networks since June 2017. Boyd has a diverse background in various design roles, including positions as Project Design Draughtsman at Mimp Connecting Solutions and Motorola Solutions, and as Draughting Section Manager at Fyfe Pty Ltd focused on the Oil & Gas sector. Previous experience includes senior and lead draughtsman roles within O'Donnell Griffin and Fyfe Pty Ltd, as well as foundational work as a Computer Aided Design Drafter at Amec Foster Wheeler. Boyd’s extensive career spans multiple industries, with expertise in structural, mechanical, electrical, and telecom designs. Currently pursuing a Diploma of Engineering at TAFE SA, Boyd's educational journey began at Kirkintilloch High School, culminating in diverse practical experiences since 1992.
