Louise Watts

Louise Watts possesses over a decade of experience in telecommunications planning and engineering, currently serving as the Telecommunications Planning & Engineering Manager at SA Power Networks, where responsibilities include operational management, planning, and asset management for telecommunications networks. Previously, in the role of Telecommunications Planning and Design Engineer at the same company, Louise developed strategies for the design and implementation of telecommunications networks aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction while achieving financial efficiency. Serving as the Convenor for the AU D2 CIGRE Panel on Information Systems, Telecommunications, and Cybersecurity since August 2022, Louise also has a background in hardware engineering from Lockheed Martin Australia and practical research experience from the Defence Science and Technology Organisation. Louise holds a Double Bachelor (Hons) in IT & Telecommunications Engineering and Maths & Computer Science from the University of Adelaide.
