Lead Electrical Engineer - Protection And Secondary at SA Power Networks

Peyman Etminan has a strong background in electrical engineering with experience in various roles and industries. Peyman started their career at JDEVS Co. as a Senior Electrical Engineer from 2003 to 2007. Peyman then moved on to Farab Co., where they held the role of Senior Electrical Engineer from 2007 to 2011, working on hydro power plants, substations, gas and oil projects, and railway systems in Iran. In 2012, Peyman joined Aurecon as a Senior Electrical Engineer, where they worked on a range of projects including substation design, distribution and transmission lines, power generation units, and oil and gas industries. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer and Design Manager at SA Power Networks, responsible for leading the energy storage discipline and overseeing protection and secondary design. Since 2019, Peyman has been working as the Lead Electrical Engineer for Protection and Secondary at SA Power Networks.

Peyman Etminan completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical-Electronic Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. In 2019, they obtained a certification in Financial Markets from Yale University. Peyman is currently pursuing their Postgraduate degree in MBA from the University of South Australia, starting in 2020.
