Barry Parks

Barry Parks has extensive work experience in transportation and operations management. Barry worked as a Regional Operations and Transportation Director at SA Recycling, where they managed domestic and international shipping, negotiated freight, and implemented safety and operations initiatives. Prior to that, they served as a Transportation and Operations Director at Tennessee Valley Recycling, overseeing operations, safety administration, equipment purchases, and customer service. Barry also has experience as a Transportation Director at McCormick Transportation and River Metals. Earlier in their career, Barry worked as a Regional Transportation Manager at Steiner Liff/ PSC Metals, where they managed truck, rail, and barge operations and implemented fleet improvements. Barry began their career at Cumberland Swan, where they held various roles and gained experience in manufacturing and compounding.

Barry Parks pursued their higher education from 2015 to 2016 at Western Governors University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a focus on Organizational Leadership. In addition to their degree, Barry Parks also obtained a certification in CompTIA Project+ from CompTIA in April 2016.
