Rowan Wittels

Rowan Wittels has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. They began their career at IVORY Systems as an Account Manager, where they managed key accounts and handled customer relationship management. They then moved on to Global Vision IT as a Branch Manager, focusing on software development and systems solutions. After that, Rowan worked as a Managing Member at IT Mentors and later at SimplicIT, where they provided IT solutions and focused on digital media design. They then joined Mortgage Capital as an Information Technology Manager, overseeing IT operations in the affordable housing finance sector. Finally, Rowan worked at SA Taxi in various roles, including IT Operations Manager, Head of Wi-Fi at SA Taxi Connect, Senior Manager, Senior Technical Analyst, and currently as an Engineering Lead.

Rowan Wittels has a diverse and extensive education history. In 1997, they obtained a certification in "Sales Advantage" from Dale Carnegie Training. The following year, in 1998, they became a "Sales Advantage Group Assistant" through the same institution. Rowan continued to enhance their sales skills by obtaining the same certification in 1999 and 2000. In 2001, Rowan achieved certifications as a "Microsoft Certified Licensing Specialist" and a "Microsoft Certified Sales Professional" from Microsoft South Africa.

Rowan also holds several additional certifications. In 2011, they obtained the "ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management" from PEOPLECERT, and the "Symantec Backup Exec 2010 Administration" certification from Symantec. In 2013, they earned the "COBIT 5 Foundation" certification from APMG-International.

Moreover, Rowan pursued higher education at the University of Stellenbosch Business School in 2013 and 2014. During this time, they completed the "Transaction Capital New Managers Development Programme" and specialized in Management.
