Michelle-Rachel Joseph is an experienced service coordinator and community support worker with a strong background in supporting children and youth with autism and mental health challenges. Currently serving as a Service Coordinator at SAAAC Autism Centre, Michelle-Rachel engages with families for intake and assessment processes. Previous roles include working with the Sick Kids team in the Eating and Mental Health Ward at wm+a, providing counseling and support to individuals with ASD and mental illness. Additional experience includes serving as a Care Coordinator at YMCA of Greater Toronto, a SNAP Family & Child Worker at Delta Family Resource Centre, and a Community Support Worker with Skylark Children, Youth and Families. Michelle-Rachel holds a Post Graduate degree in Autism and Behavioral Science and a Child and Youth Worker diploma from Seneca Polytechnic.

The SAAAC Autism Centre is a registered charity based in Toronto principally formed to aid and empower newcomer and low-income families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In support of its primary mission of increasing access to ASD services to underserved communities, SAAAC engages in a wide range of advocacy and awareness building initiatives, in addition to providing free and subsidized programs for the benefit of individuals and families.
