Senior Vice President And Head Of Corporate Government Relations at Saab Group

Henrik Petersson has an extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Henrik began their career as a Technical Engineer at FFV Aerotech AB in 1988 before moving to AerotechTelub AB in 1995. At AerotechTelub, they held various positions such as Head of Technical Engineers, Program Manager Export, and Manager Gripen Export. In 2002, they joined Saab as a Commercial Manager in the Aftermarket division. Henrik then progressed to the role of Director in Export Control and Licensing before becoming the Vice President and Head of Corporate Export Compliance. In 2014, they transitioned to Senior Vice President and Head of Corporate Government Relations. Moreover, Henrik Petersson has held leadership positions in several industry associations, including being the Chairman of the Export Control Committee at ASD Europe and the Swedish Security and Defence Industry Association. Henrik has also served on the boards of the International Council of Swedish Industry (NIR) and Säkerhets- och försvarsföretagen (SOFF). Additionally, they are currently a Member of the EC DG DEFIS Expert Group at the European Commission, starting in 2021.

Henrik Petersson attended Erikdahlbergs gymnasium from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Technical Engineering. Henrik also studied Mathematics at Linköping University, but the exact duration and degree obtained are unknown. In addition, Henrik Petersson received certification in "The Board Program - Framgångsrikt styrelsearbete" from Novare Leadership Academy in 2023.
