Karin Sterky

Karin Sterky is an experienced professional with a strong background in project and product management within the chemical and materials science sectors. Currently serving as a Product Manager and Project Manager at Saab since August 2018, Karin has previously held roles at Akzo Nobel Surface Chemistry AB, including Innovation Project Manager and Sr Research Chemist/Project Manager. Karin’s earlier experience includes a position as Research Scientist/Project Manager at SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden and a PhD candidate at Chalmers University of Technology, where a Doctorate in Material Science/Polymer Technology was obtained. Additionally, Karin has served as CEO of Silentum AB and has participated in various start-up ventures, contributing to business development and project management initiatives. Educational qualifications include a PhD and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.
