Mikael Adelsberg

Mikael Adelsberg currently serves as Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at Saab since September 2024. Prior to this role, Mikael was Head of Group R&D EE/SW/Autonomous at TRATON GROUP from November 2023 to September 2024. Mikael also contributed as a Member of the Board of Advisors at Scantinel Photonics from August 2021 to September 2024 and held the position of Senior Vice President for Connected, Autonomous and Embedded Systems at Scania Group from July 2017 to September 2024. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant to the Board at Volkswagen AG from August 2015 to July 2017 and various senior management roles at Scania from December 2003 to October 2015, including overseeing powertrain and engine control strategies. Educational credentials include an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics, a Civilingenjörsexamen from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and a Master of Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
