Tero Kiuru is a Research Leader at Saab Finland, where they currently spearhead the Future Capabilities Team. Previously, Tero held positions as a Senior Scientist and Research Scientist at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland from 2011 to 2020. Their early career included roles as a Research Engineer at Aalto University and as a Visiting Scientist at JPL (NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory) in 2014. Tero also contributed to research at ESA/ESTEC during a PhD program from 2007 to 2008. They are an exchange student in Electrical Engineering at Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen and are pursuing a Doctor of Science (Tech.) in Electrical Engineering from Aalto University.
