Divya Tiwari is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in supply chain management, consulting, and advisory roles. Currently serving as a Consultant and Advisor at Saahas since October 2014, Divya holds multiple leadership positions including CEO and Chief Programme Manager, alongside serving as a Trustee for the Solid Waste Management Roundtable since February 2018. Previous roles include Program Coordinator for Saahas Zero Waste, Senior Planning Manager at Hewlett-Packard, and SCM Consultant at IBM. Divya's engineering background includes serving as a Senior Process Engineer at Engineering Resources Group. Academic credentials feature a Fellowship in Supply Chain from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.

Saahas was registered under the Society’s Act in 2001. We are based in Bangalore and committed to finding solutions to problems related to solid waste. Our organisation has studied the Municipal Solid Waste (Management and Handling Rules) 2000 and we believe that it provides excellent guidelines for improving the existing situation of solid waste management in the city. OUR OBJECTIVES At Saahas we are working towards Implementation of the Municipal Solid Waste Management and Handling Rules Reduction in use and throw products like plastic carry bags, paper cups and tissues Encouraging waste segregation at source and retrieval of recyclable material Encouraging the composting of organic waste Introducing safe management of e-Waste in households, companies and schools
