Maria Santaeularia Badia has a diverse work experience that spans various roles in different companies. Maria is currently working as a Web Developer at SAALG Geomechanics. Prior to this, they worked as a Freelance front-end web developer, specializing in React, for a brief period.

Maria's longest tenure was at IH Terrassa (IH Barcelona), where they held multiple roles from 2013 to 2020. Maria initially joined as an English Teacher and later took on additional responsibilities as a Social Media Manager and Academic Coordinator. In these roles, Maria produced content for the school's social media platforms, coordinated projects across departments, conducted teacher training, and served as a Cambridge ESOL Speaking Examiner for various levels of exams.

In 2001, they attended St Augustine's Catholic College, where they obtained A levels in Mathematics, Physics, French, and Art & Design. Following this, Maria enrolled at the University of Cambridge in 2003, studying towards a Bachelor of Architecture - BArch. However, they completed only 2.5 years of the program before concluding their studies in 2006. Later, Maria pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts at Middlesex University and completed their degree in 2011.

Aside from their formal education, Maria also acquired additional certifications. In 2013, they obtained a Cambridge ESOL Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) with a merit endorsement from Cambridge Assessment English. In 2015, Maria successfully completed the IH Certificate Advanced Methodology, achieving a pass grade from Cambridge Assessment English and the International House World Organisation. That same year, they completed a short course titled 'Taming the Wolf,' focusing on children with behavioral, emotional, and social difficulties, through the International House World Organisation.

Maria continued to enhance their skills and knowledge by obtaining a Cambridge ESOL Level 7 Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (DELTA) - Module 1 (Merit), Module 2 (Pass), and Module 3 (Merit) from Cambridge Assessment English in 2020. In 2021, they completed a Full Stack Web Developer Course from Codecademy and further obtained a Front End Developer certification with a React JS specialism from IT Academy - Barcelona Activa.
