Kara Simard

Kara Simard is an accomplished Associate Architect with extensive experience in architectural design and project leadership. Currently at saam architecture since February 2021, Kara previously contributed as an Architectural Designer at AECOM and CBT Architects, gaining valuable skills in project development and client coordination. Notably, during tenure at Harvard University, Kara served as an Instructor in the Office of Executive Education, guiding leaders in the real estate industry through advanced management programs. Additional experience includes roles at DSK | Dewing Schmid Kearns Architects + Planners, Bargmann Hendrie + Archetype, Inc., and Prutting & Company Custom Builders LLC, where Kara honed expertise in design, project management, and architectural documentation. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and additional studies at Politecnico di Torino.
