Dirk Sahlmer

Dirk Sahlmer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Dirk is currently employed at saas.group, where they hold the position of Head of Origination. Prior to this role, they worked as an M&A Manager, Associate, and Analyst at the same company. Before joining saas.group, Dirk engaged in angel investments at TS Ventures. In 2018, they co-founded carlotta, where they served as a Co-Founder until the end of 2019. Dirk also worked as a Research Assistant in Vehicle Aerodynamics at FKFS - Forschungsinstitut für Kraftfahrwesen und Fahrzeugmotoren Stuttgart from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they were a Homologation Engineer specializing in Vehicle Emissions Testing at ALPINA Burkard Bovensiepen GmbH + Co. KG from 2016 to 2017. In 2015, Dirk worked as a Test Driver for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems at Elektrobit (EB). Dirk started their career as a Quality Engineering Intern at Porsche in 2014.

Dirk Sahlmer has a diverse education history. Dirk obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Dortmund, attending from 2013 to 2017. After completing their bachelor's degree, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Electric Mobility at the University of Stuttgart from 2017 to 2020.
