Federico Maldini

Federico Maldini currently serves as the Technical Director for the Hinge Division at Sabaf Group, a position held since May 2025. Prior to this, Federico was the Engine Design Manager at MOTORI MINARELLI SPA from October 2021 to May 2025 and has extensive experience in the automotive industry, including roles as Head of Technical Department and R&D Manager at Endurance Adler S.p.A. from January 2018 to October 2021, as well as positions as Senior Engine Designer and Engine Designer at Ducati Motor Holding from March 2010 to December 2017. Federico began a research assignment at Ferrari from November 2008 to March 2010. In terms of education, Federico is pursuing an Executive MBA at Bologna Business School, expected to complete in June 2025, and holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanics and Advanced Engineering Sciences from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, earned in January 2012.
