Catherine Scott

Catherine Scott is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in institutional giving and foundation relations. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Institutional Giving at Saban Community Clinic since June 2020, Catherine previously held the position of Director of Foundation Relations at the same organization and was the Founder and Director of Catherine Scott Consulting from September 2016 to July 2020. Catherine took a sabbatical in 2016 to assist in a family business launch and support refugee sponsorship efforts. Prior experience includes a pivotal role as Director of Foundation Relations at Heifer International, where Catherine managed successful fundraising initiatives and responded to crises like the Nepal earthquake. Catherine's academic background includes instructive roles at Concordia University College of Alberta and the University of Waterloo, where a Doctor of Philosophy degree in American Literature was earned. Noted for producing high-quality grant proposals and academic publications, Catherine has consistently demonstrated a commitment to education and community development.
