Simphiwe Ngcobo has extensive experience in leadership roles within the broadcasting and film industries. Currently serving as Head of Regions, Strategy & Governance at SABC since October 2021, Ngcobo provides strategic oversight for regional operations, manages budgets, and ensures compliance with organizational policies. Previous roles include Acting Head of Regions, KwaZulu-Natal Regional Operations Manager at Fooze Universe, and Production & Development Manager at KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission, where Ngcobo spearheaded significant film projects and fostered industry growth. With a solid educational background, including an MBA from MANCOSA and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Ngcobo combines managerial acumen with a rich history in media production and development.
