Conor O'Kane is an accomplished Concept and Simulation Engineer at Saber Astronautics, contributing to the development of aerospace prototypes and simulations since March 2022. Prior to this role, Conor served as the Director and Developer at Io Normal, an independent game development studio in Melbourne, where recent projects included Ice Caves of Europa and Mars Flight VR. Conor's background includes a tenure as a Research Officer at RMIT University, focusing on simulated environments for AI training in autonomous logistics, and as a Lecturer in 3D character creation and animation. Additional experiences encompass roles as a Senior Artist and Technical Artist at Tantalus Media, a 3D Studio Max instructor at Arthouse, a Lead Artist at Funcom, and an Effects Artist at Lightstream. Educationally, Conor holds a degree in Design and Animation from the Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology and has further studies at RMIT.
