Hamish Self

Hamish Self is a skilled aerospace engineer with a strong background in flight dynamics and vehicle design. Currently serving as a Space Operator at Saber Astronautics, Hamish has previously held positions as a STEM Cadet at Defence Science and Technology and various roles within Monash High Powered Rocketry, including Vehicle Dynamics Engineer, Propulsion Engineer, and Safety Officer. Hamish's experience also encompasses leadership as a Team Coordinator for the Astra Program and as a Victorian Representative for the Australian Youth Aerospace Association, where responsibilities included liaising with industry contacts and organizing events. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Monash University, along with participation in an exchange program at Purdue University and completion of the Engineering Leadership Program at Monash.
