Fahad al-Harthi

Fahad Al-Harthi is an experienced executive in the chemical and polymers industry, currently serving as the General Manager for SABIC Americas. With a career at SABIC that began in March 2003, Fahad has held various leadership roles, including Executive Director for both Global Automotive Business and Advanced Consumer Solutions, where responsibilities included leading teams to promote innovative consumer solutions across several industries. Prior positions included managing SABIC's Turkey office and overseeing the global P&L for polycarbonate and ABS businesses. Fahad's early career involved investment planning and engineering within SABIC's Research & Technology Center, contributing to the development of the alpha sablin technology for Linear Alpha Olefins. Additionally, Fahad holds board positions at Advanced Energy Storage Systems Investment Company and SABIC SK Nexlene Company. Academic credentials include an Executive MBA from London Business School and master's and bachelor's degrees in Chemical Engineering from King Saud University.
