Jun Wang

Jun Wang is a seasoned professional in the field of chemical engineering with extensive experience in catalyst development, reaction mechanisms, and hydrogen storage systems. Currently serving as Lead Scientist at SABIC since 2015, Jun previously held positions as a Research Engineer at Total Petrochemicals & Refining USA and Research Associate at Purdue University, where significant contributions included investigating low temperature water-gas-shift reactions and developing innovative biomass processing methods. Early career roles as a Research Scientist at Rohm and Haas and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of South Carolina and Nanjing University focused on hydrogen storage systems, catalyst properties, and collaboration with industrial partners. Jun holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina, in addition to a B.S. in Chemistry and an M.S. in Physical Chemistry from Nanjing University.
