Paolo Vacca

Paolo Vacca serves as the Director and Chief Legal Counsel for Transactions & Finance at SABIC since August 2007, leading the legal team responsible for global M&A, joint ventures, venture capital investments, greenfield projects, corporate finance, and capital market transactions. Vacca also holds the position of Legal Business Partner and secretary to the managing and supervisory boards of SABIC Capital. Previously, Vacca was the Director of Legal Affairs Europe & Corporate Finance, providing comprehensive legal support for the European manufacturing and commercial operations of SABIC's Petrochemicals Business Unit. Prior experience includes serving as Legal Counsel at LyondellBasell, where legal support was provided to European commercial operations and technology licensing teams. Vacca holds multiple legal degrees, including a Master of Laws in International Business Law from the University of Leicester and various specialized master's degrees focused on financial markets and energy law.
