Shi Wang is currently a Lead Scientist at SABIC, where they focus on process optimization, product improvement, and the start-up of new production lines and plants. Previously, Shi held positions as a Core Process Scientist and Sr. Scientist at the same company from 2018 to 2022. Shi began their career with an internship at Dynalene in 2011, specializing in the scale-up of emulsion polymerization for ion-exchange resin particles. Shi earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University and a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University. They are also pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Purdue University Krannert School of Management.
