Melissa Rood has a strong background in recruiting and sales, with experience in various roles and companies. Melissa currently works as a Recruiter at Sability since November 2019. Prior to that, they were a Sales & Marketing Recruiter at Wyndham Destinations from April 2019 to November 2019. Additionally, at Wyndham Destinations, they worked as a Quality Assurance Representative from September 2018 to April 2019. Before joining Wyndham Destinations, Melissa held several recruiting positions at Wyndham Vacation Ownership. Melissa was a Recruiting Consultant from November 2016 to September 2017, a Recruiting Manager-Sales & Marketing from May 2013 to October 2016, and a Recruiting Manager from January 2011 to May 2013. Lastly, Melissa started their career as a Student-Athlete in Women's Soccer at The University of Tennessee from 2007 to 2011.

Melissa Rood, ECRE, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma in General Education from Ephrata Senior High School, where they attended from 2003 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Melissa Rood has acquired several certifications related to recruitment. In 2012, they obtained the Elite Certified Recruitment Expert (ECRE) certification from AIRS. Melissa also holds certifications from AIRS for Advanced Certified Internet Recruiter (ACIR), Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR), Certified Social Sourcing Recruiter (CSSR), Certified Diversity Recruiter (CDR), and Professional Recruiter Certification (PRC).
