Monty Merecka

Monty Merecka has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Monty started their career at Sonat Offshore Drilling in 1988 as an Engineer. Monty then moved on to MidCon Corporation (now Kinder Morgan) in the same year and held various roles including Reservoir Engineer, Project Engineer, and Ventures Manager. In 1998, Monty joined Devon Energy as an Asset Team Manager and worked there until 2013. During their time at Devon Energy, they gained experience as an Exploitation Manager at Quantum Resources Management, LLC from 2013 to 2014. Monty then served as an Exploitation Manager at Breitburn Energy from 2014 to 2017. Monty currently holds the position of Western Region SVP at Sabine Oil & Gas, which they started in 2017.

Monty Merecka obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 1985 to 1988.
