Siamak Samoohi (Sam)

Chief Engineer at Sabre Systems

Siamak (Sam) Samoohi has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Siamak (Sam) began their career at Northern Telecom as a Software Engineer in 1983 and worked there until 1985. Siamak (Sam) then joined Rockwell International and Rockwell Collins as a Senior Software Engineer from 1985 to 1989, where they designed and developed various protocols. Samoohi then moved to Motorola as a Senior Staff Engineer from 1989 to 2001, where they played a key role in developing wireless network products and training materials. After that, they joined UTStarcom as an MTS Systems Engineer from 2001 to 2004, working on defining system requirements for wireline and wireless products. Samoohi then became a Principal Systems Engineer at BAE Systems from 2004 to 2010, where they defined radio system requirements and worked closely with internal engineering development groups. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Engineer at Sabre Systems Inc. since 2010.

From 1982 to 1984, Siamak (Sam) Samoohi attended the University of Illinois Chicago, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
