Tom Dekle

Tom Dekle has a diverse work experience in the field of graphic design and related roles. Tom started their career as an Administrative Clerk in the United States Marine Corps from 2008 to 2014. Tom then completed a Graphic Designer Internship at If Actual in 2016, where they converted graphic elements into correct formats and created software icons and interfaces for government use.

In the same year, Tom worked as a Career Services Office Assistant at The Art Institute of Washington-Northern Virginia. There, they utilized their graphic design skills to create posters, fliers, and campaigns, and managed large format print production schedules.

Next, Tom gained further experience as a Graphic Design Intern at GREENFIELD/BELSER, LTD in 2017. Tom constructed and mounted comprehensive layouts and assisted with developing various layouts for mobile designs, websites, stationary, advertisements, and more. Additionally, Tom modified and made edits to PDFs, power-points, calendars, stock photos, word docs, and design files.

Tom then joined Cubic Global Defense in 2017 as a Graphic Designer. Tom'sresponsibilities included creating and editing PowerPoint presentations using stock images and icons, designing logos or icons for internal usage, and constructing comprehensive layouts.

From 2017 to 2020, Tom worked at SURVICE Engineering as a Desktop Publisher and later an Art Director. In these roles, they were involved in modifying and maintaining the in-house website and Sharepoint, creating and editing logos or icons, and constructing comprehensive layouts.

Tom's most recent work experience is at Sabre Systems Inc. starting from 2020 as a Graphic Art Director. Tom is responsible for overseeing graphic art-related projects.

In 2023, Tom is expected to join Deloitte US as a Graphic Lead Specialist, but their tenure at the company has not yet ended.

Tom Dekle completed their high school education at Metter High School from 2004 to 2008. Tom graduated with a High School Diploma after specializing in College Prep courses. Later, from 2015 to 2017, Tom pursued their Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design at The Art Institutes.
