Mariam Bala

Mariam Bala, CPA, CFE, currently serves as Senior Manager of Internal Audit - Operations at Sabre Corporation since September 2024. Prior to this role, Mariam held the position of Senior Manager - Global Risk Management at Nike from December 2021 to September 2024 and worked at United Airlines in various capacities from November 2012 to December 2021, including Internal Audit Manager for Forensics, Ethics & Regulatory Compliance. Additionally, Mariam has contributed to the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners as an Advisory Council member and participated in various initiatives with the Illinois CPA Society and The Institute of Internal Auditors. Mariam's earlier career includes roles at Crowe Horwath LLP as a Senior Risk Consultant and positions in various organizations such as International Fellowship and Scholle Packaging.
