Marilyn Townsend

Marilyn Townsend currently serves as a Board Member for both CoreNet Global North Texas and Community Storehouse, while holding the position of Sr. Director at Sabre Corporation since September 2013, leading a team of 88 across global travel, real estate, facilities, and corporate security. Marilyn has extensive experience in leadership, strategic planning, operation management, and supplier negotiation, having previously held director roles at A. H. Belo and Belo Corp, where duties included managing corporate travel and facilities, executing growth strategies for supplier diversity, and overseeing significant departmental budgets. Earlier career roles at WorldTravel BTI and American Airlines involved managing corporate travel programs and contributing to sales strategy, further strengthening expertise in operational efficiency and financial oversight. Marilyn holds a BBA in General Business from The University of Texas at Austin and an Associate of Arts in Psychology from Del Mar College.
