Roshan Mendis

Roshan Mendis is senior vice president, International Markets (APAC and EMEA), Sabre Travel Network. Based in London, UK, Roshan is responsible for commercial operations and business development for Sabre’s GDS agency and corporate customer portfolio in these regions.

In his previous role as senior vice president for Travel Network in Asia-Pacific, Roshan built and developed a strong regional team that led the successful integration of Abacus, the leading GDS in the region that Sabre acquired in 2015. And under his leadership, Sabre’s business across 28 APAC markets has expanded through strategic customer wins and renewals.

Roshan has over 20 years of experience in travel technology. Prior to his executive position in Travel Network, he served as president of Travelocity and Zuji, both consumer-facing brands that were part of the Sabre portfolio.

A native of Sri Lanka, Roshan completed his undergraduate studies at Chaminade University of Honolulu (Hawaii) and University of Cambridge (UK). He later earned his MBA at the Rice University in Houston, Texas (USA).
