Thierry Clairon currently serves as Directeur Culture Patrimoine Archives et Vie Associative and Directeur Culture Patrimoine Événementiel et Vie Associative at Ville d'Annemasse since April 2022. With extensive experience in cultural management, Thierry has been a member of Sacem since 1986 and held various leadership roles, including Chargé de mission at collectivité publique territoriale O.M. and Directeur of cultural programs at Ville de Plaisir from 2004 to 2015, where enrollment in conservatories grew significantly. Thierry has directed several festivals, including Festival des Arts Urbains, Festival Across, and Festival Escales d'Ailleurs, overseeing diverse artistic and educational initiatives. An accomplished author, Thierry has authored a book with support from the Charles De Gaulle Foundation. Educationally, Thierry holds a Doctorate in musicology from Université Paris-Sorbonne.
