Ashton Rosenbloom is a medical student at the Sackler School of Medicine NY and the American Program of Tel Aviv University School of Medicine since August 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a research assistant at Saint John's Cancer Institute from September 2020 to June 2021, and a position as a volunteer staff member with CORE from July to September 2020. Ashton also worked as a research assistant at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on astrocyte transcriptional responses to reactive oxygen species and metabolic adaptations following traumatic brain injury in a rodent model, between February 2017 and May 2020. Additional experience includes hospital volunteering at Kaiser Permanente from January 2019 to March 2020, a laboratory research assistant role at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in summer 2018, and serving as a clinical research assistant at Tower Hematology Oncology Medical Group during summer 2017. Ashton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cell Biology with a focus on Immunology from the University of California, Berkeley, earned in 2020.
